The WEEE Directive (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Regulations 2013)

Electrical and electronic equipment (EEE) is regulated to reduce the amount of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) incinerated or sent to landfill sites.

Reduction is achieved through various measures which encourage the recovery, reuse, and recycling of products and components.  The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Regulations 2013 (as amended) is the underpinning UK legislation.

Here at Computer Disposal Experts, we can handle your WEEE requirements, our business model is based on the simple aspect of reusing and refurbishing as much as possible.

I've only used CDE once so far, but on the strength of that experience, they will be my go-to supplier from now on. Excellent comms, showed up exactly on time, thoroughly professional and provided a comprehensive list of all the assets collected, right down to serial numbers. 5*

A Cox

After failing to find a company that disposed of our old IT equipment free of charge, I came across CDE who arranged a free pickup of the equipment within a week of submitting my first enquiry. I then received a full breakdown and confirmation that my equipment had been disposed of a week later. Great service and would recommend to anyone looking to get rid of their old IT equipment.

B Carney

Great efficient service. Collected the items on the date and time booked, counted the kit on the van in an organised manner. Certificates received back on time and well detailed. Would definitely recommend the service this company provides.

D Miller

Very professional. Responded promptly to our enquiries. Two uniformed staff arrived at the agreed time, loaded the towers and monitors, provided WTN paperwork, all done within 15 minutes! Full list of equipment serials and data destruction records followed within the week. Can't recommend enough if you've a pile of obsolete IT equipment.

J Smith

Picked up loads of redundant kit free of charge and disposed of it securely and in an environmentally friendly way. Followed up with paperwork to prove what was disposed of and how. Would recommend.
